In this blog post we will show you the easiest way to install Kodi on both the Amazon Fire TV Stick and the Amazon Fire TV Box.
To get started, from the home screen, go to Settings. Now select System.
Select Developer Options.
Make sure ADB Debugging is set to ON. Now select Apps from Unknown Sources, so that it is also set to ON.
You will now be prompted with a warning message. Select OK.
Go back to the Home Screen. Select Search.Β Type in ES File Explorer and enter.
Select ES File Explorer.Β Now Select Get/Install.
Once ES File Explorer has installed select open.
Once ES File Explorer has opened navigate to Favourite in the top left hand corner. Select this so the sub menu below expands. Now select Add.
Select the path box, from the pop up.
Now enter http://kodi.tv/download. Now select Next.
Now enter the word Kodi. Select Next.
Select Add.
On the left hand side, under favourites, scroll down until you find Kodi and Select it.
The Kodi download page will now open on the right hand side. Now navigate to the Android version and select the ARM version. Only select this once!
Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page until you see the More Button (with 3 dots), in the bottom right hand side. Select More. Now select Open in Browser.
Select Open With ES Downloader. Select Just Once.
Kodi will now start downloading.
Once the download has completed select Open File.
Select Install.
Now select Install again.
Once Kodi has installed select Open to run Kodi for the first time.
To open Kodi in the future go toΒ Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications > Kodi.
